Salutation art lover!

My name is Noorjahan Mahajabin Asha. I am a Bangladeshi Canadian painter and sculptor living in Canada Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Through paint and clay, I try to understand the world around me. It is where I find my refuge and the call for adventure. I want to create poetry with my work. Paintings and sculptures to show a glimpse of the places that I wonder. Where curiosity and bewilderment are the only commodity that I have.

I studied part-time drawing with Craig Berry a Canadian painter who introduced me to 19th-century classical figurative paintings. My old-fashioned soul immediately fell in love with it. I moved to New York in pursuit of my artistic training. A curiosity toward understanding form and depth led me to the realm of sculpture. I studied drawing, painting, and sculpture at Grand Central Atelier. After graduating from Grand Central Atelier in 2024, I relocated back to Canada to establish artistic practice creating narratives using human figures and objects of symbolic significance.
